Междоусобная война Витовта против Скиргайло (1390–1392) в описании в «Новой хронике Пруссии» Виганда фон Марбурга.
Аннотация
В представленной статье проводится анализ одного из исторических текстов, описывающих войну, которую князь Витовт вел против князя Скиргайло в 1390 – 1392 годах за власть в Великом княжестве Литовском. Данный конфликт до настоящего времени не получил исчерпывающего освещения в отечественной исторической литературе. Во многом это связано с отсутствием переводов на русский, либо белорусский языки прусских источников, прежде всего, хроник Тевтонского ордена. Одной из таких хроник, в которой гражданская война в Великом Княжестве Литовском описана достаточно подробно, является «Новая хроника Пруссии» Виганда фон Марбурга. Несмотря на то, что Виганд фон Марбург не являлся членом Тевтонского ордена, он
исполнял обязанности герольда у великого магистра Ордена Конрада фон Валленрода и являлся непосредственным свидетелем прусских событий 1390 – 1392 годов. Особую значимость указанному источнику придает то обстоятельство, что хроника не являлась официальной летописью Ордена, в связи с чем ее автор широко использовал устную традицию, рыцарские предания и легенды. Кроме того, хроника Виганда фон Марбурга носит ярко выраженный светский
характер. Его повествование содержит ряд подробностей, которые отсутствуют в других нарративных источниках. Так, автор рифмованной хроники называет имена сановников Ордена, которым было поручено строительство замков Нойгартен и Метенборг, называет участников литовскоорденских посольств, перечисляет наиболее знатных пилигримов, прибывших в то время
в Пруссию сражаться с язычниками. Виганд фон Марбург сообщает нам о возникших в среде пилигримов разногласиях по поводу того, кому нести Хоругвь Святого Георгия, описывает порядок вступления отрядов на территорию противника и т.д. Автор представленной статьи приходит к
выводу, что данный источник является одним из наиболее ценных в исследовании упомянутых событий. В приложении приводятся авторский перевод фрагмента хроники, в котором описываются события гражданской войны 1390 – 1392 годов в Великом Княжестве Литовском. Поскольку оригинальные рифмованные строки хроники, посвященные данным событиям, не сохранились, за основу перевода взят прозаический пересказ ее текста, выполненный в XV веке Конрадом Гесселеном.
In the present article the author analyzes one of the historical texts which describe the war between the Duke Vytautas and Duke Skirgaila in 1390 – 1392 years for dominion over the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. Until present time this conflict remains insufficiently researched in the national historical literature. This is largely due to the lack of Prussian source’s translations, primarily chronicles the Teutonic Order into Russian or Belarusian languages. One of these chronicles, in which the civil war in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania is described in some detail, is a "New Chronicle of Prussia", written by Wigand von Marburg in the XIV century. Despite the fact that Wigand von Marburg was not a member of the Teutonic Order, he served as a herald at court of the Grand Master of the Order Konrad von Wallenrod, and he was the eyewitness to the of the Prussian events that took place in period from 1390 till 1392 year. The special importance for this source gives the fact that the Chronicle was not the official chronicle of the Order. In connection with this, its author made extensive use of the oral sources, knightly traditions and legends. In addition, the chronicle of Wigand von Marburg has a pronounced secular character. His text contains a lot of details that are missing in other narrative sources. Thus, the author of rhymed chronicle calls the names of Order’s officials, which was assigned to construct the castles Noygarten and Metenborg. He calls the negotiators between Lithuania and the Order and he lists the most illustrious pilgrims who arrived thereat to Prussia for fight against the pagans. Wigand von Marburg tells us about the some disagreements among pilgrims about the fact who may to carry the banner of Saint George, he describes the sequence for entry by troops into enemy territory, etc. The author of the present article makes the conclusion that the chronicle of Wigand von Marburg is one of the most valuable sources for the research of the history of these events. The appendix to the article contains the author's translation of a fragment of the chronicle, which describes the events of the Civil War (1390 – 1392) in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The full original text of the chronicle was not survived till present day. For this reason, the author’s translation is backed on the prosaic retelling of the Wigand’s chronicle made by Konrad Gesselen in the XV century.
