Philosophical and aesthetic aspects of Pascal Quignard’ works

The article reveals the specificity of the philosophical and aesthetic views of the modern French writer Pascal Quignard. The functioning of the philosophical themes «solitude», «silence», «reading», «freedom» in the author's works is noted. The role of the philosophical and allegorical novel in the works of P. Quignard is revealed. The article reveals the role of the technique "philosophical allegorization" in the author's works. Philosophical allegorization allows one to distance oneself from obvious moral and ethical conclusions, and is also aimed at pushing the reader to go beyond the boundaries of everyday life and give him the opportunity to discover the primacy of spiritual values.
