Effective medical and pedagogical practices in rehabilitation and abilitation of children with autism spectrum disorder

Abstract

This article examines existing effective medical and pedagogical practices in the rehabilitation and habilitation of children with autism spectrum disorders, highlighting several fundamental factors: genetic and epigenetic characteristics, environmental influences, and social connections. Strategies for implementing rehabilitation and habilitation approaches tailored to the individual characteristics of children with autism spectrum disorders are discussed, which requires a comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach. The importance of creating a supportive environment that fosters positive interpersonal relationships and reduces stress is emphasized.
