Mitochondria in the mechanisms of platelets activation : model of the mitochondria-associated membranes contribution

Abstract

The article presents current data of the molecular mechanisms of platelet function and the role of mitochondria and mitochondrial-associated membranes in platelet physiology. The role of mitochondria and mitochondrial-associated membranes of platelets are shown in the development of several non-infectious human pathologies.
