Abstract

The article discusses the issues of improving the technique of the lower start for mass-class sprinters. Objective: to improve the technique of low start and starting acceleration for short-distance runners at the training stage, taking into account the structure and content of the starting actions.

In a number of dissertation studies, the authors present methodological approaches to improving the technique of low start and starting acceleration of qualified sprinters based on improving individual manifestations of speed, developing special speed and strength qualities, optimizing the pre-start state, etc., while this problem in the aspect of training mass-discharge sprinters is considered fragmentary, which, in general, it does not provide continuity of conditions for mastering the low-start technique and starting acceleration as a component of a holistic rational running technique, what is the limiting factor for the growth of further sports results.
