Correction of motor functions of the knee joint in athletes after surgery by means and methods of physical rehabilitation : background and design of the study

Abstract

The presented article presents the results of a three-year retrospective analysis of injuries of the meniscus and anterior cruciate ligament of the knee joint in athletes based on the results of treatment in the clinic of the RSPC of Sports (Minsk). It is shown that out of 51 athletes who underwent treatment and rehabilitation, 95% had complications associated with both surgical treatment and the rehabilitation process. Emphasizes the importance of the problem of effective rehabilitation in athletes after knee injuries, which significantly increases with the introduction of new technologies into practice, namely, a comprehensive individual approach at all stages of the rehabilitation process aimed at correcting motor disorders of the lower extremities.
