Determinants of domestic tourism development in the Republic of Belarus

This article examines the main determinants of the development of the Belarusian tourism market: macro- and micro-level of tourism development; supply and demand in the domestic tourism market; dynamics and structure of domestic tourism; behavioral factors and reactions of travel companies. The article provides a statistical analysis of key indicators of the state of domestic tourism in the Republic of Belarus for the period 2009-2020. With regard to the micro level, the article describes the activities of tourist organizations. The author assessed the sites of travel organizations and identified the problems of their low efficiency. The directions of improving the work of tourist organizations in the domestic market are proposed.
