Eastern fort (a redoubt) of the Brest fortress as an object of museumification and a tourist resource

The article reveals the museumification process of the Brest Fortress Eastern Fort that is a unique monument of Russian fortress architecture of the 19th century. It was in the epicenter of defensive battles in June 1941. The author highlighted the technical characteristics of the object, traced its history from the moment of construction in the 19th century to the creation of the exposition on its territory in the second decade of the 21st century. Also, the main museumification stages of the Eastern Fort are reflected as well as the key reasons for the new exposition creation.
