Article Review Process

  1. Article review process is carried out confidentially.
  2. All manuscripts undergo blind double peer-review.
  3. Manuscripts are reviewed by highly qualified specialists (reviewers) whose names are not revealed.
  4. In accordance with ethical standards and requirements imposed by the editorial board of the journal the reviewers do not have the right to use manuscripts in personal research and transfer them (or parts thereof) for review to another person.
  5. The term for reviewing manuscripts should not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of submitting.
  6. The review should contain a qualified analysis of the manuscript, an objective well-reasoned assessment of the manuscript.
  7. The review of the manuscript should contain an expert assessment of the article according to the following parameters: correspondence of the content of the article to its title; relevance of the research topic; scientific novelty and practical significance of the results; the advisability of publishing an article, taking into account previously published literature on this issue; presentation of material (language, style, categories and revolutions used, structure).
  8. Based on the analysis of the article, the reviewer draws a conclusion:
    a) the article is recommended for publication;
    b) the article require improvement (revision, updating) in accordance with the comments of the reviewer;
    c) the article is rejected (indicating the reasons).
  9. After receiving a positive review, the author announces that the review phase has passed.
  10. In case of receiving recommendations for revision or rejection, the text of the review is sent to the author by e-mail.
  11. The revised (corrected) manuscript is re-sent by the author and is re-reviewed as a rule by the same reviewer.
  12. If there are some comments in the review and the author does not agree with them, the manuscript can be accepted for publication in the journal in the form of scientific discussion by the editorial board of the journal.
  13. Manuscripts are rejected for the following reasons:
    - manuscripts are not of any scientific or educational value;
    - manuscripts are not relevant and scientific;
    - manuscripts have an anti-scientific nature;
    - manuscripts are difficult or impossible to read due to errors in the text and / or inconsistency of its elements;
    - the publication of manuscript may violate the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus or copyright and / or related rights;
    - manuscripts contain statements, judgments or conclusions not confirmed either by the authors’ own research or by references to external sources;
    - manuscripts don’t comply with scientific ethics.
  14. If the manuscript is rejected the author is notified about the reasons for the rejection.
  15. The manuscript review is stored for further use by the journal’s editorial board in case of publishing.
