Features of building and ensuring the functioning of ecosystems of banks in eastern countries

Abstract

The purpose of the article is to study the characteristic aspects of the construction and functioning of banking ecosystems in Eastern countries, taking into account the unique distinctive features formed in their economies, in order to identify key trends and prospects for sustainable development in the era of digital transformation.

Material and methods. The theoretical basis of the study was the work of domestic and foreign authors on the subject of ecosystems of banks in Eastern countries. The methods used were synthesis, generalization, and comparison.

Results. The author of the article examines the principles of functioning of ecosystems of Eastern banks, using the example of countries such as China, India, Korea, Japan, as well as Islamic banks based on Sharia norms, using the example of countries such as Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Indonesia, African countries and Turkey. The key structures and integration with fintech are explored, as well as the role of technological innovations such as artificial intelligence and blockchain in their development. Special attention is paid to the analysis of growth drivers, including digitalization, partnerships with fintech companies. In addition, the economic potential of Eastern banks, their impact on the customer experience through halal products, income diversification and competitiveness in the global digital space are being assessed. The article is aimed at forming a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms for building effective Eastern ecosystems and identifying factors contributing to their successful development, scaling and adaptation to the challenges of traditional finance.

Conclusion. The ecosystems of banks in the Eastern countries demonstrate dynamic development and adaptation to new challenges. The integration of technology, mobile solutions and a competitive environment contribute to the creation of innovative financial products and services, which opens up new horizons for further growth.

The nature of banking ecosystems requires financial institutions not only to take an innovative approach to providing services, but also to pay serious attention to security issues, which is the key to their sustainable development and competitiveness in the market.
