Article Review Process

  1. Article review process is carried out confidentially.
  2. All manuscripts undergo double blind peer-review.
  3. Manuscripts are reviewed by highly qualified specialists (reviewers) whose names are not revealed.
  4. In accordance with ethical standards and requirements imposed by the editorial board of the journal reviewers do not have the right to use manuscripts in personal research and transfer them (or parts thereof) for review to another person.
  5. The term for reviewing manuscripts should not exceed 30 calendar days from the moment of submitting.
  6. The review should contain a qualified analysis of the manuscript, an objective well-reasoned assessment of the manuscript. It should reflect an expert assessment of the quality of the manuscript and include the following: the relevance of the topic, scientific novelty, scientific relevance, practical value, proper scientific level, literacy, consistency and logical presentation of the material, evidence and well- reasoned conclusions, analysis of the literature used, points to be corrected, compliance of the materials with the requirements for publication.
  7. The review should contain the recommendation on the publication of the manuscript, its revision (updating) or rejection.
  8. The manuscript review is filled in online on the journal’s website and is stored there for further use by the journal’s editorial board in case of publishing.
  9. The review of the manuscript is written in a free form with the mandatory completion of each item of the form in accordance with the requirements for journal articles.
  10. After the review is filled in and saved a corresponding review mark appears on the personal page of the author.
  11. In case of receiving recommendations for revision or rejection, the text of the review is sent to the author by e-mail, stated by him in the process of registration on the journal website.
  12. The revised (corrected) manuscript is re-sent by the author and is re-reviewed as a rule by the same reviewer.
  13. If there are some comments in the review and the author does not agree with them, the manuscript can be accepted for publication in the journal in the form of scientific discussion by the editorial board of the journal.
  14. Manuscripts of articles are rejected for the following reasons:
  • - manuscripts are not of any scientific or educational value;
  • - manuscripts are not relevant and scientific;
  • - manuscripts  are of an anti-scientific nature;
  • -  manuscripts are difficult or impossible to read due to errors in the text and / or inconsistency of its elements;
  • - the publication of manuscript may violate the current legislation of the Republic of Belarus or copyright and / or related rights;
  • - manuscripts contain statements, judgments or conclusions not confirmed either by the authors’ own research or by references to external sources;
  • - manuscripts don’t comply with scientific ethics.
  1. If the manuscript is rejected the author is notified about the reasons for the rejection.
  2. The review is kept by the editors and is used for placement in the databases along with the articles of the authors, as well as submitted to the State Commission for Academic Degrees and Titles of the Republic of Belarus upon request.
