Abstract

In the fourth, final, report of a series of articles on the results of clinical testing of the anti-asthenic drug «Valikar» in 31 athletes-wrestlers under intense training loads, the results of the study of the dynamics of changes in parameters аntropometric and body composition parameters are presented. The study of the effect of 15-day course intake of the drug «Valikar» on the anthropometry and body composition parameters by the bioimpedance method. In general, the study sample of athletes showed high levels of active cell mass, moderate indicators of adipose tissue mass, as well as a balanced water content in the body. In the course of the study, during the course of the medication «Valikar» in both groups of the examined, there were no significant significant differences in the dynamics of indicators analysis. According to the results of anthropometric studies and bioimpedance analysis of body composition, no statistically significant differences were found between the group taking the drug and the group receiving placebo. In addition, the anabolic activity of the drug «Valikar» was not revealed, which is probably related to the dosage of the drug.
