Physical training in the systemof education of students of specialized classes with a military-patriotic orientation

This article presents an analysis of research on the organization of specialized physical education instruction in general education institutions. It concludes that developing physical training content for high school students enrolled in military-patriotic classes remains a pressing issue in pedagogical science and practice. Research findings revealed significant potential for improving the quality and effectiveness of physical education for young men in these specialized classes, which are designed to prepare students for admission to military vocational schools, universities of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and other institutions. To improve students' physical fitness, a limited range of physical education tools is used, primarily basic types of motor activity. This does not fully meet the goals of military-patriotic classes, as it does not provide the necessary military-applied nature of the physical education process. In this regard, the use of the "Defender of the Fatherland" all-around competition is of particular interest, allowing for a comprehensive impact on the development of physical qualities, functional fitness, and personality traits in young men.
